History
Historically, Finlayson's village was organized in 1895, and was named in honor of David Finlayson, the former proprietor of a sawmill in this town.
The city was incorporated as a village on August 24, 1905; among its early businesses were a Northern Pacific Railroad station, a sawmill, two potato warehouses and a pickle factory; the post office was established in 1887. View Full Story Here |
